Making a GIF into video for Zappar
Note - Creating a graphic animation and rendering it to video in After effects will give you better results. This is just a quick way to turn Photoshop Gifs into video files for testing purposes.
Decide on the object you will be augmenting. The size in important. Is it a business card, a birthday card, a mask, a page in a magazine, a shirt?
Create an animated GIF with Photoshop that fits the object. This GIF could be made of appropriated video, an illustration, a photo – anything.
When finished, export the GIF as a video – file/export/render video (not web for legacy).
Go to Zappar and upload your video. You can make it play in a loop, or just once.
Download a Zapcode and ad the code to your Photoshop file. Save it as a jpeg.
In Zappaar, click edit tracking image – upload the jpeg you just made with the zapcode.
Preview in Zappar and resize your image.
Print the jpeg. Tweek as necessary.
Add sound and buttons if you’d like!
