Creating Interactive Multimedia Stories Using WIX

PART 1

Before embarking on the process of assembling the interactive multimedia document students must develop the following story materials and present them on their websites:

A clearly written two paragraph description explaining your story and what sort of interactivity it will have. This should appear as text.
Create a hierarchy/flow chart in Photoshop or Twine showing the choices the user can make in the story. Include the basic content of each page with lines illustrating how pages will connect the narrative. Illustrate loops and, depending on your story - dead-ends.
Create a layout of what your splash page (index page) will look like and a sketch of how other pages will appear. You may draw this freehand and scan it or use Photoshop and create a jpeg.
Design the interface and at least one actual character and a setting.
Be sure to indicate if you will be incorporating animated titles, Video, GIFs and sound design. Look on the web for good interface designs.
Make a mood board illustrating the family of colors, textures, even sounds your story will contain. Google "Mood Board" for examples.
Note: A well produced Twine story with effective sound design displayed on background representing the mood and style of your story can accomplish all of the above.
