This outline is subject to change depending on the time necessary for students to demonstrate proficiency in the tools covered and to complete each successive project. Attendance is mandatory for all classes.

Week 1,
W 9/5 First Day
Introductions: Review syllabus and class website.
Begin Project 1: Set-up WIX site for everyone.
Homework: Email me your new website URL + include your name and the name of the class.
F 9/7 GIF Workshop w/Photoshop tutorial - Begin Project 2
Homework: Post links to 2 or 3 of your favorite websites to a page on your site so you can share them with the class.
Week 2,
M 9/10 GIF Workshop - review favorite websites
W 9/12 GIF Workshop - review favorite websites
F 9/14 Finish GIF - Project 2 must be completed by end of class.
Web 1 students have your preliminary website ready to show as well as your 6 GIFS. Publish links to one or 2 websites that you “like” on your site and be ready to talk a little about why.
Web 2 students have your preliminary website, 6 GIFS as well as a 1 page proposal for your first independent project published to your site. Be ready to answer questions and show examples to give the class an idea of where you’re headed.
Week 3,
M 9/17 GIF Critiques and turn in GIF file to Neil for posting to class website
Web 1 students begin Project 3, Audio Narratives and Soundscapes + Digital Audio recorder Tutorial
Homework: Record some test material for your Audio Narrative so you're ready to start editing next class.
Web 2 students will make presentations for Independent project #1

F 10/12 Finish Twine - Project 4 must be completed, rendered, uploaded to and embedded on a page on your web site. This page should have a background image and sound design that sets the "mood" of your story.
