Week 1, First Day of Class

TH 1/18 First Day: Syllabus/introductions and overview

Begin Project 1 – Student Website Portfolio. This project is due at the end of the semester but we will be reviewing your site in-progress over the course of the semester

Begin Project 2 - GIF Studio Photoshop tutorial overview

Homework: E-mail me your website URL and consider images for Project 2 (GIF self portrait)

T 1/23 GIF Photoshop tutorial continued - GIF workshops

TH 1/25 GIF workshops - a minimum of 6 different Gif's must be completed and published to your web-site by end of class

T 1/30  Critique Project 2,  GIF Portraits - Critiques for the first half of class. Turn-in your favorite GIF file to Neil for posting to class website

Homework: Record some test material for your Audio Narrative so you're ready to start editing next class.

Homework: Prepare Final project proposals including a story outline and pre-production of story materials.
